Proof Approval Process
Proof Approval is the process we use to make sure you're happy with your
artwork -- and give it your approval -- prior to it hitting production. For a guide on how to set up your artwork and what we require, click the link below.
What is the Proof?
Once you upload your artwork, our team will begin preparing a digital Proof for you to review within 1 or 2 business days. The Proof will be sent to you via Email as a digital PDF file, containing your artwork with proofing details. An example Proof is shown below:
What's included in the Proof?
Dimensions
The Proof will display the exact dimensions of your artwork, specified at the longest height and width dimensions. To better understand the final size of your artwork, view or print your Proof at 100% scale.
Cut Line
The Proof will display the cut line, which indicates where your stickers or labels will be cut. Any artwork inside the cut line will print; please ensure all critical artwork and information are not too close to the cut line.
Bleed Region
The Proof will display the bleed region, if your artwork requires it. The bleed region is an extended area of the artwork beyond the final cut line, to account for slight variations in the cut line and to prevent unwanted white edges. If your artwork requires bleed, please review your proof to verify the artwork fills the bleed area correctly, and that all critical artwork and information are within the cut line.
Special Materials and Notes
The Proof will display if you've selected special materials such as holographic or sparkle. Any additional notes as needed will also be displayed on the Proof for you to review and approve.
Proof Approval
Once you receive your digital Proof please take time to thoroughly review it. Is the size correct? Is the critical information accurate? Does the text layout as you like? If there is something you'd like updated, request a revision and we'll be happy to help. Once you are satisfied with your Proof, we will look for your approval confirmation via Email-- Nothing is sent to Production without your approval! Please note that after your Proof has been approved we can not allow any changes, so please make sure the Proof is exactly what you want.
Will I see a Proof before my Stickers go to Production?
For all new orders- Yes! You will always receive a digital Proof to approve prior to your order going to Production.
For Reorders, you will typically not receive a Proof to approve-- we trust that if you're ordering it again, you want it just as before!
Please note that there may be some cases where Reorders do require a new Proof approval, so be on the lookout for an email for this.
What types of revision changes can I request?
We want the revision process to be simple. If you notice an error or update needed to your original artwork, send us the latest and we'll make sure to include it. If the size, alignment, or orientation needs tailored relative to your order size, request a change and we'll make sure to include it.
The intent of the Proof Approval Process is not to redraw, recreate, modify, and/or add filters/effects to your artwork. Please note that requests such as these are not included in the revision process.
